For flounces and even pleats

The #86 crimper is a specialist for simple crimping and pleating of fabrics. Due to its variable adjustment possibilities, both the pleat depth and the frequency of the pleating can be varied.

The #86 crimper can be used to create a crimp at every stitch, every 6th stitch or every 12th stitch. It is also possible to sew without crimping without changing the presser foot (crimper position = 0). The crimp is created with the special crimping blade. Due to the up and down movement of the needle, a little fabric is always caught and pushed under the needle. The result is neat and even crimping on home textiles or garments. The pleat depth can be infinitely adjusted by turning a Phillips head adjusting screw.
